Best New Product Winner is “Adored”
ADORED BEAST APOTHECARY WINS BEST NEW PRODUCT 2019 AT THE WESTERN CANADIAN TRADE SHOW
Visitors of this year’s Western Canadian Trade Show all conglomerated towards the “New Product” section immediately upon arrival at Calgary’s Big Four Hall. While the selection ranged from pet foods to crates and accessories and even haute couture attire, the majority of votes determined the winner of the 2019 prize. Results proved that The Adored Beast Apothecary is in fact adored as they won Best New Product.
Adored Beast Apothecary is the culmination of decades of experience in the trenches of holistic animal healthcare by founder Julie Anne Lee, DHC, RCSHom. Developed with over 20 years of clinical experience – a recipe for success. “The fact that we won that is amazing to me. To me, it was probably based on the results that people were having in stores and with animals. That makes me way happier than winning it because our packaging is pretty. All my marketing is through education with a focus to educate pet parents and make big big changes in animals lives in terms of how health goes.”
Holistic health products have come a long way in an interesting industry. “It’s so trendy now…when I first started, people actually thought I flew in on a broom!”
As natural supplements become more popular, a shift in quality and thought process can become more compromised. “With a quality product, people notice a difference in their pet’s well-being: improvement in their energy level, their breath, and their coat.”
Julie strives on results – which then demonstrates repetitive business. “We never got into business to just get shelf space. We got into business to help animals. I think that’s vital because if people buy a product and it helps their dog, it’s the best marketing a store can get.”
The ingredients in the product is the exact same ingredients as what goes into a human compounding supplement for human naturopathic doctors. The products are formulated, mixed and bottled. “My thought process is to achieve therapeutic value in every single animal or body that takes it. Very happy that gut health won. You can’t have a healthy body without a healthy gut.”
