Award Winners Revealed at Expozoo 2018
PIJAC Canada is proud to announce the winners of the 2018 Animal Welfare is Everyone’s Business Retail and Favorite Sales Representative Awards – Expozoo Edition.
The awards were handed out Sunday evening at the Expozoo 20th Anniversary Cocktail.
Joannie Normand and Marie-Renée Lavoie of À Chacun Sa Bête in Gaspé, Quebec were the recipients of the Animal Welfare is Everyone’s Business Retail Award. The award highlights the work of dedicated and passionate pet retail businesses in the areas of animal health, promotion of responsible pet care, and community involvement to further the well-being of local pets. Joannie and Marie- Renée are known for their fundraising efforts on behalf of local animal charities, and for educating pet families in their community about responsible pet ownership.
The Favorite Sales Representative Award recognizes candidates from both the manufacturing and distribution categories. It focuses on reps who go above and beyond their everyday tasks, supporting clients in their business so that they can effectively and positively serve pet families.
The winner in the Distribution category was Sophie Choquette of Pet Science Ltd.. Always readily available for question or requests, Sophie takes great pride in supporting her clients and helping them succeed.
The winner in the Manufacturing category was Frédéric Bertrand of Oven-Baked Tradition. Frédéric’s customers are very comfortable working with him. They recognize the passion he has for his job and value his ability to listen to their needs and provide solutions.
