PIJAC Canada Events Go Virtual – Toronto & Drummondville Merge

Keeping the world turning for Canadian pets and pet businesses.

We are excited to share with you the news that this year we will be combining the Drummondville and Toronto shows into one large virtual show for 2020. The Virtual National Pet Industry Show will be held live on September 13-14, will be accessible to exhibitors and visitors across the globe and will be fully bilingual.

The Virtual National Pet Industry Show is completely different event than the virtual Vancouver show we hosted in April.   We have purchased a platform called vFairs, where the virtual event will be hosted.  We are extremely excited to share with you how it works.

The planning has been in the works for some weeks.  When considering a virtual show, it was critical that we were able to offer a platform which allowed for direct b2b networking, kept expenses reasonable and ensured the safety of participants. As you can imagine there have been many moving parts which lead to this decision, including receiving word that the Drummondville facility would not be hosting any events and the ongoing restriction extensions on large gatherings from the Ontario government.

We always knew that COVID would not keep us or our members down so we’ve found a way to move forward. The shows were originally created to bring our industry together to build business relationships, share advancements and prosper.  In re-imagining our shows this year’s we kept these ideas as our foundation to ensure we brought you a platform that would provide the same benefits.
