Do Know Your Rabbit Breeds?

Did you know that all domestic rabbit breeds are descendants of the European wild rabbit. While rabbits were originally bred for meat and fur, today, many breeds are strictly raised as “fancy” rabbits and are sold in the pet industry. The breeds recognized by the American Rabbit Breeders Association are classified according to their fur structure and include; normal, angora, rex or satin. Not sure which breed would be best suited for you and your family? Well you have a wide range of choice with 49 recognized and unique breeds.
