PIJAC Canada Welcomes New Board Member Rob Smith
PIJAC Canada is pleased to introduce its newest member to its Board of Directors. Rob Smith of Pet Smart was voted in at the PIJAC Canada Annual General meeting, hosted at the National Pet Industry Trade Show, September 16, 2019.
As the voice of Canada’s pet industry representing over 900 members, it is critical for PIJAC Canada to have directors who are both industry savvy and knowledgeable about the well-being of animals and pet families.
‘I think its important as one of the largest retail chains in Canada to demonstrate our support to the Canadian Pet Industry. At PetSmart, our love of pets impacts everything – from how we treat pet parents to the way we support our associates and how we give back to our communities. Along with PIJAC Canada we know we can provide a healthier, happier life for pets.’

“We are excited to welcome Rob Smith to the PIJAC Canada family. His knowledge of the pet industry and his interest in the regulations and care of pets will be greatly valuable.” says Stephanie Girard, President & CEO of PIJAC Canada.
